Possums

This piece was inspired by the fact that opossums are pretty creepy (beady bottomless black eyes, claymation-like movements, playing dead, etc.) although after looking at a bunch of pictures of these little dudes for reference, they're actually kinda cute. :3

Estuarine

Part one of two. These pieces are inspired by mythology and nature and are meant to symbolize the duality in everything, the quintessential light and dark.

Zombie Couture

Diamonds are forever.
So are zombies.

Axolotls

Axolotls are adorable. Also, rad hairdos.

Deepsea

I think humans have the need to explore the unknown due to fear and curiosity. It's not entirely unfounded.

Self Portrait + nautilus

Pretty self explanatory.

bb Nautilus

This was done as a button design. Nautiluses are just so round and tiny, they're the perfect fit for a tiny round button.

Helix Nebula

Inspired by the music of Anamanaguchi. I hope this planet actually exists somewhere out there.

A Sunny Day in Glasgow

An event poster, more inspired by the name of the headlining band than anything else.

Predator

This is an illustration for a social awareness poster, wherein the hunter becomes the hunted.

Headbump

When I was a kid, one of my best imaginary friends was a pachycephalosaurus. We would go around and headbutt people together. Kids (and dinosaurs) are always getting little bumps and scrapes doing such things. I did this as a t-shirt design for DesignByHumans. You can view it here.

Sushi

I don't know what a meal of sushi and noodles is like for everyone else, but mine are something like this. A cookbook illustration.

Ring Around the Moon

An illustration for a poster of the play Ring Around the Moon by Jean Anouilh.

Marzipanfish & Jakface

A birthday card for my awesome artist pal Jakface! This picture contains most of the awesome things that bind us in our friendship.
